What have I done? I’ve been a high profile Auckland City Councillor, Director of JUCY Group NZ’s fastest growing tourism company, Kidicorp - early childhood provider, listed company Turners Auctions, The Auckland Racing Club, Chair -NZTR Members Council, Asian Facing Federation, NZ Thoroughbred Racing, Tax Management NZ, Waka Kotahi and Ngati Awa Group Holdings.

Tourism, Venues, & Economic development I chaired City Attractions Committee of Auckland City Council (1998-2001) and under my helm the regionwide Auckland Arts Festival and indoor arena got off the ground. I had an interest in a CBD hotel.

Business/Property: I’ve had experience on two fast growing nationwide entities with customer facing focus and new technology/digital focus. One entity had nationwide property holdings that increased dramatically. I sit on an industrial property board.

I served for nearly 10 years with the Auckland Kindergarten Association as President, Vice President & Board member. More recently I crusaded to Save Laura Fergusson and am now the Chairperson of Laura Fergusson Auckland.

Persistence, courage, strategy, curiosity, enthusiasm, hardwork

I’m an experienced & versatile leader, with demonstrated history of success across very diverse industries. I’m practical, creative, with a strong ‘people’ focus, - skilled in business development, technology transformation, innovation, corporate governance, risk management and communications.

I’m Chair of the Auckland Regional Amenities Funding Board, an Independent director of Auckland Eye, Mrs Mac’s Pies and a private industrial property company. I was a director of Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency & Ngati Awa Group Holdings Limited. I chair Laura Fergusson Trust Auckland and Joyce Fisher Endowment Fund.

I’m a serial entrepreneur who has been part of five successful business development and growth stories.  This required strong risk management understanding, assessing opportunities for growth, capital raising and successful customer centric solutions. I founded in 2007 (and sold in 2018) Cityhop, NZ’s first carshare company offering cars by the hour.

I’ve been a Chartered Fellow of the IOD (Institute of Directors) NZ since 2014.

I have over 25 years experience in governance, communications & crisis management.
